Doomsday the Deer is my fursona! Her original design (see ref sheet in gallery below) was created by my wonderful girlfriend Laura, who can be found at @vriskelart on Instagram and @hooks4ndplans on Tumblr.
For the most part, Doomsday and I are very similar. Like a lot of my ocs and 'sona' characters, she is me but removed a degree or two. Perhaps she is a little bit of an aspirational version of myself - who I hope I might turn out to be in however many years time.

Doomsday works as a video essayist, documentarian, and blogger who creates content often focused on ecology, leftist politics, nuclear semiotics, the end of the world, and more.
She lives in an apartment with her butch fiance Esther the Badger, and their girlfriend Charlie the Cat (both are my actual irl partners' fursonas!) She likes to hang out with her friend Dusty the Cat (my friend Cam's fursona) and go urbexing or hiking through nature. Doomsday often enjoys quiet evenings with her lovers - listening to music, blogging, reading, and sometimes smoking pot.
She is a little bit mysterious, and - despite having grown quite hopeful and sunnier as a person - seems to have a little bit more going on than meets the eye. An obsession with humantiy's proximity to the end and that weird glowy eye thing deer get when its dark and they're shined on with a light.
